How do I restore my Premium subscription on a new device?
Open the app → Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you originally subscribed with.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Only Focus → Cancel. You can also use the 'Manage Subscription' link inside the Only Focus Settings screen — it opens the same Apple subscription management page. Your premium access continues until the end of the current period.
My focus timer stopped when I locked the screen — how do I keep it running?
Make sure you've allowed notifications. The timer continues to count down on the lock-screen Live Activity (iOS 16.1+) and Dynamic Island even if iOS suspends the app. If you don't see the Live Activity, check Settings → Face ID & Passcode → Allow Access When Locked → Live Activities is on.
Why isn't the notification sound playing?
iOS silences notifications when your phone is on Silent / Do Not Disturb. Only Focus uses a custom sound bundled at notification volume — set up a Focus mode that allows Only Focus through, or take your phone off Silent.
How do I delete my account and all data?
Open the app → Settings → Account → Delete Account. The in-app flow runs a server-side function that hard-deletes your auth row and cascades to remove your sessions, display name, room memberships, reports, and blocks. RevenueCat subscription history is also anonymized. You can also email mustafabaykal91@gmail.com if you prefer.
How do I report an offensive user in a focus room?
Inside any room, long-press the avatar of the member you want to report. The menu shows Report with seven categories: harassment, hate speech, spam, sexual content, self-harm, impersonation, other. Choose a category and optionally add a short note. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours and acted on (warning, kick, ban, account closure) where appropriate. The reported user is not told who filed the report.
How do I block a user?
The same long-press menu shows Block. A blocked user is removed from your room roster immediately, cannot rejoin any room you are in, and rooms they create are hidden from your lobby. You can manage your block list at Settings → Blocked Users → Unblock.
What content is not allowed in focus rooms?
Anything that violates our acceptable-use policy: harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, impersonation, spam, illegal content, or content that would harm a reasonable person. Room display names, welcome messages, and member display names are all subject to this — even though rooms only support emoji reactions, the typed fields can carry abuse and are server-side filtered.
Can I use Only Focus on my Apple Watch?
Yes — the Apple Watch companion is included. Install Only Focus from the Watch App on your iPhone, then start, pause, and skip phases directly from your wrist. The watch syncs with the iPhone automatically.
Where is my session data stored?
Anonymous session history is stored on Supabase servers in the EU (Frankfurt region). Settings, theme preferences, and your timer state are also cached on your device. See the Privacy Policy for full details on every third-party processor we use.
