Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-10 · Governing law: Republic of Türkiye

Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Crisis Desk ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and Apple's Standard EULA (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). If you do not agree, do not install or use Crisis Desk.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the digital-consent age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use Crisis Desk. By using it, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases

Crisis Desk's first case ("Night Shift: Reactor 4") is free to play from start to finish. An optional Premium subscription unlocks all current and future cases, three console themes (Obsidian, Phosphor, Iron Curtain), Expert Mode, and the full post-shift debrief. Premium is offered as an auto-renewing Monthly subscription or an auto-renewing Yearly subscription. Prices are shown in your local currency on the App Store purchase screen. Subscriptions auto-renew at the listed price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; the renewal charge is taken within 24 hours before the period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or via "Restore purchases" inside Crisis Desk. There is no free trial, no lifetime option, and no weekly tier. Premium unlocks content and customization only — it confers no advantage within the free case.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Crisis Desk.

Refunds: All in-app purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are at Apple's sole discretion under Apple's refund process. We cannot directly issue refunds for App Store transactions.

Free trial: If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. After the trial ends, your selected plan auto-renews at the listed price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. We do not handle your payment method — Apple does.

License grant

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Crisis Desk for non-commercial entertainment on Apple-branded devices you own or control. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app; use bots, macros, modified clients, or automation; or attempt to bypass paywalls, purchase validation, or other systems.

What Premium unlocks (content only)

The first case is free to play in full. Premium unlocks additional content and customization only: all current and future crisis cases, three console themes (Obsidian, Phosphor, Iron Curtain), Expert Mode (a stripped-down instrument readout for experienced players), and the full post-shift debrief. Premium does not alter the outcome of the free case and confers no hidden advantage — Crisis Desk is a single-player decision game with no competitive ranking.

Subscription details (Apple §3.1.2(a) disclosure)

Monthly subscription length: 1 month. Yearly subscription length: 1 year. There is no free trial and no lifetime option. Prices are displayed in your local currency on the App Store purchase screen. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; the renewal charge is taken within 24 hours before the period ends. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period — there is no pro-rated refund for unused time. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

Restore purchases

If you reinstall Crisis Desk or switch devices, open Settings → Restore purchases to reactivate Premium tied to your Apple ID. There is no separate Crisis Desk account — your entitlement follows your Apple ID.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must go through Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com — we are not able to issue refunds directly, and we do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused subscription time. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund amounts already charged.

Fictional content

Crisis Desk is a work of fiction. Its characters, plant, dialogue, incidents, and outcomes are invented for dramatic and educational entertainment and do not depict any real person, facility, event, or operating procedure. Nothing in the app is real-world engineering, safety, or operational guidance, and it must not be relied upon as such.

Acceptable use

Do not modify the app binary, interfere with purchase validation, attempt to disrupt the service, or use the app for any unlawful purpose. Crisis Desk is intended for entertainment only.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mustafa Baykal from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the app, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crisis Desk is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use the app at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or use. Our total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to these terms or the app is limited to the lesser of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) USD $10. For free users this amount is zero.

Apple App Store specific terms (third-party beneficiary)

These terms are between you and Mustafa Baykal — not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, no warranty obligations, and no responsibility for product-liability, legal/regulatory, or intellectual-property claims relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law and dispute resolution (Istanbul, Türkiye)

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or Crisis Desk will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Istanbul Arbitration Centre (ISTAC) under its rules, seated in Istanbul, Türkiye. This does not prevent small-claims actions where local law permits, and it does not remove the mandatory consumer-protection rights (including local consumer arbitration boards and courts) available to consumers under applicable law.

Force majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, epidemics, labor disputes, government action, power or internet outages, cyber-attacks, or failures of third-party services (Apple App Store, RevenueCat, etc.).

Severability and no waiver

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision is limited to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes — such as price increases for existing subscribers or changes to data collection — will be announced in-app and on this page at least 30 days before they take effect, with the option to cancel before the change.

End User License Agreement (EULA)

Crisis Desk is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which governs your right to use the app on Apple-branded hardware. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you (Apple App Store Review §3.2).

Updates

We may release updates to Crisis Desk. Updates may add, modify, or remove features. We are not obligated to maintain backward compatibility. Critical security updates may be applied automatically by Apple's App Store.

Apple is a third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Crisis Desk or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In case of any failure to conform to applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). Apple is not liable for any other claims, losses, costs, or expenses attributable to Crisis Desk.
