Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using EnglishCase ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and Apple's Standard EULA (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). If you do not agree, do not install or use EnglishCase.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the digital-consent age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use EnglishCase. By using it, you confirm you meet this age requirement.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases
EnglishCase offers auto-renewing subscriptions: Monthly ($4.99/month) and Annual ($29.99/year, the best value). A free trial may be offered on your first purchase — the exact duration is shown on the paywall at the moment of purchase (Apple sets it from the App Store Connect introductory offer). After any trial, the subscription auto-renews at the listed price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, or via the 'Manage Subscription' link inside the EnglishCase Settings screen. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → EnglishCase.
Refunds: All in-app purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are at Apple's sole discretion under Apple's refund process. We cannot directly issue refunds for App Store transactions.
Free trial: If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. After the trial ends, your selected plan auto-renews at the listed price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. We do not handle your payment method — Apple does.
What you get
EnglishCase is an educational game. A free portion is available to everyone; a subscription unlocks the full set of detective cases and premium features. EnglishCase is a learning aid for general English practice — it is not a certified language qualification, exam, or accreditation.
Free trial terms
If a free trial is offered on your selected plan, its duration is shown on the paywall at purchase time. After the trial ends, your plan auto-renews at the listed price unless you cancel before the trial ends. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period — you keep your access for the days already covered.
Refunds
All in-app purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must go through Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com — we cannot issue refunds directly, and we do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused subscription days.
End User License Agreement (EULA)
EnglishCase is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which governs your right to use the app on Apple-branded hardware. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you (Apple App Store Review §3.2).
Updates
We may release updates to EnglishCase. Updates may add, modify, or remove features. We are not obligated to maintain backward compatibility. Critical security updates may be applied automatically by Apple's App Store.
Apple is a third-party beneficiary
You acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for EnglishCase or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In case of any failure to conform to applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). Apple is not liable for any other claims, losses, costs, or expenses attributable to EnglishCase.
